Happy New Year!
It has been an exciting year for us here at RAW Food and Goods. As we reflect on 2024 and look ahead to 2025, we are filled with gratitude and enthusiasm for the journey ahead.
Probably the most important growth factor for us this past year has been the deepening of our connections with so many incredible farms and producers. These relationships are so necessary for us to not only be able to source the best organic produce and goods, but also to learn from and educate our community about them. We firmly believe that it's incredibly important to know the stories behind the food we eat, the challenges our local producers face, and the triumphs they achieve.
Creating and nurturing these community connections is a core part of our mission at RAW Food and Goods. By sharing the narratives of the people who grow and make the nourishing foods we deliver, we hope to elevate not just our plates, but our collective understanding of where our food comes from and why that matters. In doing so, we aim to support the local producers we depend on, who are true pioneers and heroes in our eyes.
So with deep gratitude, we want to thank Due Torri Coffee, Ferrari Farms, The Urban Edge Farm, Mikuyta Mushrooms, It's Alive Kombucha, and PT Ranch for all that they do. They have not only become our valued suppliers, but our friends and mentors as well.
Our Journey to RAW Food and Goods
We started this mission because we needed it ourselves. Several years ago, I experienced a debilitating injury that left me unable to work or even walk for an extended period. During that challenging time, I began buying in bulk and making all of our baby's food from scratch. This eventually led me to explore the power of juicing and the transformative impact of proper nutrition.
As I healed, my passion for wellness only grew stronger. Crafting our Son's baby food and formula from whole, organic ingredients was incredibly rewarding, and it sparked a deep appreciation for the connection between what we eat and how we feel. This personal journey is what ultimately inspired us to launch RAW Food and Goods, with the goal of making it easier for families to access the nourishing, seasonal produce and goods that can truly make a difference in their lives.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we jump into 2025, we couldn't be more excited for the future. Our mission to connect people with the best foods and the stories behind them continues to drive us forward. In the coming year, we plan to deepen our relationships with even more local farms and producers, expanding the variety and availability of the curated packs we deliver to the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
