This Week at Raw 12.22.24
RAW Food and Goods, LLC
This week was a busy one but so worth it. We sold a record number of variety packs and also sourced some amazing add-ons!
Visiting Ferrari Farms
We drove out to Ferrari Farms in Linden to pick up fresh red walnuts and almonds. The family-owned farm has been growing these delicious nuts for generations, and we're thrilled to be able to offer them to our customers. The walnuts have a rich, buttery flavor, and the almonds are perfectly crunchy. We can't wait for you to try them!
Harvesting Lions Mane Mushrooms
We also went to harvest fresh lions mane mushrooms from our friends at Mikuyta Mushrooms in Benicia. These unique mushrooms have a delicate, seafood-like flavor and a soft, almost fluffy texture. They're a real treat, and we're excited to include them in our upcoming variety packs.
Sourcing Sustainable Seafood
We met with some amazing fishermen who we will be working with in the upcoming season. They have sashimi-grade albacore tuna and crab, and I picked up a bunch of canned tuna. It's by far the best we have had. These fishermen are committed to sustainable practices, and we're proud to support their work.
Connecting with Our Producers
In pursuit of the best products, I am blessed to meet some absolutely amazing people doing great work that you probably never heard about. These are the people, the links in our food chain, that we must support in order to keep the chain intact.
It's been a whirlwind of a week, but it's been so rewarding to connect with these incredible producers and bring their high-quality, sustainable products to our customers. We're grateful for your continued support, and we can't wait to see what the new year has in store!
Upcoming Events
Don't forget to mark your calendars for our upcoming holiday pop-up event on December 30th. We'll be featuring a selection of our favorite seasonal items, as well as some special holiday treats. We hope to see you there!
